DAY 1
We arrive in Oban, where our hotel for the next two nights is conveniently situated just a short walk from the train station. Tonight, we enjoy our first evening meal together.
DDAY 2
This morning we discover all about Oban known as the 'Gateway to the Isles' on a guided walking tour. We then have free time to explore this bustling harbour town and take a stroll along the esplanade and busy harbour. In the afternoon we meet up with our fellow passengers to enjoy a tour of the Oban Distillery and sample a wee dram before returning to our hotel for dinner.
B, DDAY 3
Today we travel by ferry to the Isle of Mull and on arrival meet our private coach and travel along the coast offering great views of the Sound of Mull to the island's principal town, Tobermory. This delightful fishing port is best known for its multi-coloured waterfront buildings that have attracted film-makers and tourists alike for years. We will have some time to explore the local shops, maybe visit the Tobermory Distillery or enjoy delicious meal featuring local produce in the selection of restaurants and cafés. Following our afternoon of magnificent scenery, we return to Craignure and check into the Isle of Mull Hotel & Spa our base for the next two nights.
B, DDAY 4
After a leisurely breakfast we begin our day with a visit to nearby Duart Castle, spectacularly positioned on a cliff top overlooking the sound of Mull. We can explore The Keep, Great Hall, State Bedroom & Dressing Room and Clan Exhibition before we board our coach and journey to the south of island. In the afternoon we travel as foot passenger crossing to the legendary Isle of Iona, where we discover the burial place of 48 ancient Scottish kings.
B, DDAY 5
We bid farewell to Mull and board our return morning ferry to Oban and begin our journey homewards.

Columba Hotel, Oban
A 3-star Victorian Hotel overlooks the town and have wonderful views of Oban Bay. The hotel is ideally located just a few minutes walk from the train station. The hotel has a traditional restaurant and two bars. The bedrooms have TV, tea & coffee making facilities and free Wi-Fi, many rooms also have sea views.
Isle of Mull Hotel & Spa, Craignure
This 4-star newly renovated hotel is situated on the crescent of Craignure Bay and has stunning views over to Morvern and the west coast. The bistro restaurant serves fresh seafood and local produce. The bar and lounge boast superb coastal views and are the perfect place to enjoy a wee dram while watching the sunset. The spacious bedrooms offer TV, tea & making facilities and free W-Fi.
